Hybrid Falcon
From the moment I removed the wrapping from the box that was to contain my first camera, the passion and love for photography began.
The Kodak 127, a gift from my parents opened up a whole new world.
What instantly fascinated me was now I had the ability to capture and hold onto a moment in time. To forever be able to record the environment around me.
Through many years of studying, self teaching and being inspired by my peers, I have evolved my photography. And by using different formats including 35mm, 5 x 4, 10 x 8, 6 x 17, and now digital, they have all allowed me to express my feelings and have given me the ability to create more powerful and evocative art.
By using photography as a foundation, and incorporating it with mixed media, my ambition is still and always will be to capture the beauty, atmosphere and emotion of the location or subject so that we can all enjoy what nature has given to us.
